Pet Puppy Care

Puppy vaccines and parasite prevention are critical, and we highly recommend beginning the puppy visits as soon as you get your new pal. The first visit is designed to help with any puppy training questions or concerns you may have. Every of our new puppy patients will receive a free “Puppy Pack”, equipped with a measuring cup, a dose of flea/lice preventative, a dose of Heartworm preventative, educational information about your new addition, and other fun items.

What to Expect at Your Puppy’s Vet Visits:

Visit 1 (6 weeks)

  • Physical exam
  • First distemper and parvo combo vaccine
  • Intestinal parasite analysis

Visit 2 (9 weeks)

  • Physical exam (no charge)
  • Second distemper and parvo combo vaccine
  • Bordetella vaccine
  • Intestinal parasite analysis
Pet Puppy Care

Visit 3 (12 weeks)

  • Physical exam (no charge)
  • Third distemper and parvo combo vaccine
  • First leptospirosis vaccine (based on environmental exposure)
  • First lyme vaccines (based on environmental exposure)
  • Second dose of parasite & flea/tick prevention

Visit 4 (16 weeks)

  • Physical Exam (no charge)
  •  Fourth distemper and parvo combo vaccine
  •  Rabies vaccine
  •  Second leptospirosis vaccine
  •  Second lyme vaccine
  •  Third dose of parasite & flea/tick prevention
  •  Discuss spay or neuter and pre-op blood work
  •  Discuss county license
