Dr. Barney was born and raised in Louisville and has been in the veterinary field at St. Matthews Animal Clinic since 2017. She earned a BS in Biomedical Sciences at Eastern Kentucky University before attending Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine. She earned her DVM in 2024 before returning to Kentucky to practice veterinary medicine. Her clinical interests include surgery, oncology, and preventative medicine. She is Fear Free certified and aims to make every visit a positive experience for each of her patients.

Outside of the clinic, Dr. Barney enjoys spending time with her friends and family. She has a black German Shepherd, a Labrador Retriever mix, a domestic shorthair, and a Beta fish. She loves playing sand volleyball with her family and reading in her spare time.

Jess has been working in veterinary medicine since 2014. She has completed her schooling at the University of Louisville & Art Instruction School. She loves watching all the patients grow up and loves seeing happy, smiling clients! In her free time, she reads, draws, plays video games, and spends time with family and pets. She has four cats, a dog and two parrots.

Kristin Jent has been practicing for 2 years and has completed her schooling at Brown Mackie College. She has loved having that one-on-one interaction with patients and clients on a daily basis. In her free time, Kristin likes to drink coffee and sit on her front porch.

Rebekah Bollinger has been practicing for 7 years and has completed her school at Murray State University. She goes above and beyond for each patient. The care her patients receive from her is the top priority. In her free time, she likes to try new restaurants, go to her family farm, and spend time hiking and riding around on the workman.

Amanda Olges has been practicing for 18 years and has completed her schooling at Murray State University. In her free time, she enjoys tending to the growing farm at her home, learning new skills such as breadmaking, cheese making, and soap with goat milk, hiking, foraging, and exploring. 

Courtney Voll has been practicing for 3 years and has completed her schooling at Spalding University and Indiana University Southeast. She is interested in learning anything and everything she can. Being cross-trained between two departments has allowed her to better assist and provide comfort to clients and patients. She truly loves her patients. In her free time, she plays volleyball, hikes, enjoys nature, likes being around animals, and watches ALL reality TV shows.

Alex Cundiff has been practicing for 2 years and has completed her schooling at Louisville School of Massage. She feels she has a very special connection to animals that makes them feel comfortable. In her free time, she likes relaxing at home and bowling.

For 37 years, Lawrence Mudd has been a groomer. He takes pleasure in his ability to engage with his clients as well as the amount of time he has invested in training his patients. He enjoys going to concerts and sports.
